2024 was a great year for the ISSEME ‘New Voices’ Sessions with two sessions at the ICMS conference at Kalamazoo, and one at the IMC at Leeds. We had full slates of terrific papers lined up, and the sessions were all very well attended, as always. The room at Leeds was almost standing room only, with lively and stimulating discussion in the Q & A. As in 2023, the Kalamazoo sessions included one in-person and one hybrid session, which enabled participation from a wider variety of scholars both as presenters and audience members, and the session at Leeds was recorded for those Congress attendees who could not be there in person. On behalf of ISSEME, I wish to thank all of our presenters, session moderators, and audience members for their contributions to making the 2024 ‘New Voices’ sessions a success! We hope to see everyone again, and with all new papers and exciting topics, at Kalamazoo and Leeds in 2025 and beyond.
