Biennial conferences

Every two years, ISSEME organizes a conference which allows its members to present their latest research, form networks and communicate about the future of the society and the field at large.

 “Environments” will be the theme of the 21st biennial conference of the International Society for the Study of Early Medieval England, planned for 28-30 June, 2023 at the University of Manchester.

‘New Voices’ sessions at Leeds and Kalamazoo

Annually, ISSEME sponsors  ‘New Voices’ sessions by graduate students and young researchers at the International Congress on Medieval Studies at Western Michigan University and at the International Medieval Congress at the University of Leeds. Find out more about these session (and how to apply) here.
