“Environments” will be the theme of the 21st biennial conference of the International Society for the Study of Early Medieval England, planned for 28-30 June, 2023 at the University of Manchester. This conference will take place on campus with an opportunity to present and attend online.
Pre-registration is now open! Please fill out this pre-registration form to confirm that you will attend the conference. Note that pre-registering is essential for the conference organisers to make the necessary arrangements (setting up coffee, arranging rooms, conference packs, etc.). Please register a.s.a.p. but at least before 14 June.
Due to technical difficulties, setting up the Manchester University eStore has run into delays. Participants who have pre-registered will receive a link to the eStore as soon as it is up and will then be able to pay the registration fee.
The rates for the conference are as follows:
- On campus – Full (120 GBP)
- On campus – Reduced (students/unwaged/publisher – 60 GBP)
- Online – Full (60 GBP)
- Online – Reduced (students/unwaged – 30 GBP)
These fees help pay for the conference location, keynotes, coffee/tea, student-assistants, etc. The registration fee does NOT include lunch or accommodation. In case of financial duress, members can contact our ED Elise Louviot for the fee to be waived.
